At Front Porch Gallery we believe the celebration of art as an expression of aging creates community. Join us for our latest exhibit featuring art inspired by and in tribute to McNeil Sargent, founding member and "artist emeriti" of the Sargent Art Group, composed of over 35 artists living in North County. This exhibit represents Sargent's art as well as a tribute by local San Diego artists to her as both mentor and muse.

Listed in Who's Who in American Art, McNeil Sargent attributed her influence to two prolific artists, painter John Singer Sargent (1856-1925) and American artist James McNeil Whistler (1834-1903). Through her vibrant 89 years of life, among her passions was a dedication to fostering community. It was this passion that brought her to San Diego after rising to worldwide prominence.

Come experience and reflect on the wellspring of art, inspired by McNeil's love and dedication to her artists and her craft – a manifestation of her enormous compassion and heart.
