Brooklyn

"Brooklyn" is my homage to a city and the people of New York who have suffered so much from the pandemic. The digital photo collage uses a picture of my mother in law imposed over the Brooklyn bridge and the New York skyline. She is a kind of angel looking out for her grandchildren who can see the bridge from their balcony. The circular shapes that float across the composition are a visual symbol for the spread of infection. It is a sad time, but like my parents who lived through 1918 flu pandemic, we will survive and hopefully thrive.
