MOLTEN: Art Under Fire
Front Porch Gallery is seeking submissions of art in any medium that needs heat/fire to produce the artwork. This includes but is not limited to works in glass, clay, enamel, encaustic, metal/bronze, wood, etc. All artistic expressions are encouraged and must be suitable for viewing by the general public.

Call for Art - No Entry Fee
Eligibility: Open to all artists 18 years of age or older living and working in San Diego County.
Exhibition Dates: September 19 – November 13, 2021
Opening Reception: Sunday, September 19, 12 – 2
Early Submission Deadline: July 13, 2021 (to be considered for marketing materials)
Final Submission Deadline: August 10, 2021
Selection Notification: Artists will be notified by email the by August 18, 2021.
Delivery of Accepted Art: September 8, 9, 10 (12-6); September 11 & 12 (11-5)
Pick Up Art: November 14 (11-5) – preferred day; November 17, 18 19 (12-6)
Selections made by Front Porch Gallery.
Submit JPG images smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. RGB color space. You may send 2 images per artwork. Name your files as follows: your name, title of artwork, medium. e.g. vdelong_harmonious_ceramic

Exhibition Guidelines:
Limit - Up to 5 submissions.
All 2D & 3D mediums will be considered. Artwork must have been created within the past 3 years. Artwork must be original and not previously exhibited at Front Porch Gallery. Artwork may be placed on a pedestal or table and artwork for the wall must be ready to hang with proper hanging device.
Artwork must be for sale. Gallery retains a 40% commission on all sold works. A W-9 is required for payment.
Size of work is limited to 70” on length side, 72” on height side including the frame.
Weight of artwork is limited to 50 pounds.
Artwork must be labeled on the back or bottom with artist’s name, title, medium, size and price.
Artwork must remain in the gallery for the entire exhibition, unless sold.
Entering this exhibition acknowledges the right of Front Porch Gallery to use your images(s) for publicity purposes for this event
