Oil Painting Part Two: From Inspiration to Canvas
A Four-Part Creative Discovery Series
Have you always wanted to try oil painting but weren't sure where to begin? Or perhaps you've painted before and are ready to build your skills in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Join us for a four-session journey into the timeless art of oil painting. Throughout the series, you'll explore essential techniques including color mixing, composition, brushwork, values, and creating depth and texture. Instruction is tailored to each participant's interests and experience, so whether you're interested in landscapes, florals, still life, or painting from a favorite photograph, you'll receive personalized guidance every step of the way.
Participants are encouraged to bring a favorite photograph or meaningful image to use as inspiration, transforming a cherished memory, beautiful landscape, or special moment into an original work of art.
Designed for all skill levels, this class offers plenty of one-on-one instruction and encouragement. Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or returning to a longtime passion, you'll work at your own pace, gain confidence with each session, and develop skills you can continue to enjoy long after the series ends.
Come discover the joy of slowing down, exploring your creativity, and creating a painting that's uniquely your own.
