MOHAI Dolls
A MOHAI doll is a Messenger of Hope and Inspiration. It is a doll that you create using scrap material, old jewelry and your imagination. Once created, your doll will take on a personality that resonates within you, giving you power, words of wisdom or inspiration. The process of making a doll invites you to search inward to see what it is that is important to you. Come and partake in the magic making.

Wonderful things happen when we slow down and engage deeply with works of art. Slow Looking is a monthly interactive program hosted by Ruth’s Table that invites participants to explore what we notice, wonder, and discover when we take the time to look closely and carefully.
Through guided discussion, we will share our observations, questions, perspectives, and our creative interpretations of art together.
No experience required - just bring your curiosity and an open mind.

Paper Craft and Collage Café

Our weekly Paper Craft and Collage Cafè program invites participants to dive into the world of paper arts in a low-stress, social environment. Each session offers a new opportunity to experiment with collaging, paper weaving, flower making, and other methods of paper manipulation. We source collage materials from magazines and other places, prepare materials using a variety of techniques such as gelli plate printing and abstract painting, and then use those materials to create art pieces. No prior experience needed!

Visitors are invited to create, connect, and contribute to a growing collection of community-made art. All ages are welcomed with open arms, hearts, and minds to join the fun and spread the love. This self-guided experience encourages reflection, insight, and connection with your inner wisdom. Lisa is a certified Social Emotional Arts Facilitator from UCLA’s trauma-informed program. No art experience needed—just bring your curiosity and openness! Hosted at the Front Porch Gallery, where creativity and healing meet.

Led by a certified yoga instructor, this class will guide you through longer-held poses that allow you to truly experience the full benefits of yoga. With a focus on listening to your body and practicing at your own pace, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your mind-body connection in a relaxed and welcoming environment filled with beautiful artwork. We start and end each class with a calming meditation, and after class, enjoy some tea and community support.
